Happy Easter!

This past Easter was oh-so-much fun! I got to run around and take photos of the kids during their hustle to look for eggs.

Baby Pheonix
Logan being the big brother and taking his bounty
Bryce showing me his goods

Aidan hustling

Such a fun day! Some of the eggs even had money in them. I should have put down the camera and picked up some eggs!

holly chan

She looks so sweet when she is sitting still and not hyper. Otherwise, this little one is the most hyperactive ball chasing dog that I have ever known. I loved the lighting on that sunny sunday afternoon and she was the perfect subject.

Monterey Aquarium

Charles and I first took a trip 3 years ago and we visited again this past summer. It was such nice weather and the aquarium was as great as I remembered it to be. We brought our bikes so we could go biking and during one of our excursions, we saw some deer. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera, but here are some photos from the aquarium.

bbq chicken

I just love taking photos of my food...no matter where I am or what I eat. I know a lot of foodies out there that do this as a hobby and I can see why. Today I helped Charles at work setting up some computers out in Apple Valley so my treat was eating at Johnny Rebs. Started off with some fried green tomatoes, followed by a bbq chicken sandwich with fresh potato chips and ended with some banana pudding. It was heaven!

beautiful architecture

Late last year I had worked an event held at L.A. City Hall and had to pull out my camera to take a photo of the hall. The symmetry and lighting was simply beautiful.

felt flowers

Since my engagement and the holidays, every weekend has pretty much been booked! From trying to figure out a place for the reception and just little sprouts of ideas of a theme or decor, I am pooped!

While spending time with my sister, I decided to make felt flower boutineers. Basically, the groom, groomsmen, sisters, brothers, aunts and uncles from the bride and grooms side should wear one so the count is at 40-ish. I just might make a couple more just in case I forgot someone...which I probably have.

I spent a couple of hours last night practicing which ones i might use and to see which ones take longer to produce. Now all I have to do to go shopping for the right colored felt and some florist supplies, and maybe some embellishments. With help of my bridesmaids and friends, this should be a cinch!
