Maternity Photo shoot

So i finally finished editing some photos from my first maternity shot. I was so excited and a bit flustered since it was my first time. I had no idea what to do or how to pose them but luckily I did some research and got some ideas and since it was a co-worker of mine and she knew I was an amateur, it was a bit more easy-going and fun. We met at Malaga Cove and walked down to the beach for some shots. I am excited because I plan to take some newborn photos for her as well!

President of Chile

So last Friday for work I was on photographer duty for an event with the President of Chile Sebastian Piñera and one of my photos made it to Mercury Air's newsletter!

That was quite a busy day with lots of security and I almost got run over by several people from the media, but I made it through the day with some great shots!

big bear weekend

Such a fun weekend up at Serrano in Big Bear. Just some lazy days by the river and lots and lots of food and beautiful sights. Here are a couple of photos.

happy wednesday

It's been so gloomy lately but I think I like it. From a heat wave of 110 degrees to a cool 71 degrees. I have been trying to get some photo shoots so that I can practice. So far I volunteered my services to my coworker for a maternity shoot and baby photo shoot. Now I just need to get with her before the baby comes and hope for good weather.happy wednesday I went shopping at Ikea this past weekend so I could pick up some props and I have been doing research on what other photographers are up to. I am a bit nervous but I guess I can't really get anywhere unless I dive into it right?!?!

pretty plates

it's been such a busy week and it's only going to get busier with the holiday week coming. I was working on a Governor's Trade Mission in South Korea branding and now that it is approved, I will have to incorporate the artwork on various marketing pieces.

Anyhow, not to long ago my sisters, her kids and I visited an old family friend. Her place always brings back memories of happier times (before I had to be a grown up). I just love how she decorated her place and has continued to keep the same look. I always loved her collection of plates that were carefully hung.

a full moon

The moon was so beautiful that I had to take photos of it. I have been experimenting with taking photos of the moon. I feel like I am a bit obsessed. The first time I felt the urge to take photos, I felt that the photos came out so clear. Since then, I have tried several times but it just doesn't feel the same. But of course, I will keep trying :)

fun farmers market

I had a great time at the Pasadena farmers market yesterday. It started off with a vanilla ice cream sandwich as an appetizer, a bratwurst hot dog, garlic fries and a beef quesadilla. To top it all off, Chi took us to a little gelato place paradis. I had so much food i felt like I should have ran 10 miles after.
