River Heights School Fundraisers

Happy Holidays everyone! We have done a couple of fundraisers now and we hope to be pros. I hope to be part of some fundraisers around the Alhambra San Gabriel area. We had a bigger turn out this time and some new items like nifty binder clips that we turned into giftcard/photo holders. They were also the best sellers.

As the season is coming to an end, we hope to sell out of our inventory so let me know if anyone needs anything. You can also visit www.allscrappable.com to see not only our christmas cards but occasional cards such as birthday and thank you cards.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season!

VanderMolen Fundraiser

Our first fund raising event was held at VanderMolen Elementary School. We were selling lots of Christmas goodies such as Christmas themed star photo books, Christmas cards and photo albums! There wasn't much traffic but it was great getting our name out there and meeting other vendors.
We also found a couple of other fundraisers that we might participate in.

All of which can be found at www.allscrappable.com :P

We all set up the table. The night before, we made these great display for the card out of tomato cages. I created a topper for the display and made them look like Christmas trees. I think they turned out pretty good with the exception of me burning my fingers with the glue gun a couple of times.

There was also this great petting zoo with they ADORABLE potbelly pigs. I WANT ONE!!!! They also had goats, guinea pigs, bunnies and they interesting chickens and ducks that had funky hair. I was too occupied taking photos of the potbelly pigs that I didn't really pay attention to any of the other pets. :)

busy weekend

This was a very busy weekend. It all started off with a Purse/Jewelry/Card party that my brother-in-law's coworker was throwing. Allscrappable did pretty well since everyone is gearing up for Christmas. One of the bestsellers were the giftcard holders and these great photo books that when opened and tied with a ribbon, looked like a flower. It's a new item so I haven't taken a photo to post. It's been a while since we met but we are gearing up for the Christmas season.

If we still have time to register, Allscrappable will be at the the VanderMolen Elementary Craft Boutique Fundraiser on Saturday, November 21 from 9a.m. to 12 p.m.

It was also my nephews birthday and boy was it a party! There was a lion cake, lion cupcakes (that I got from Whole Foods),piƱatas, presents and lots and lots of kids!

I also worked on Logan's nursery. There is probably one more day of more and I will be done! Pictures to come :)

tomatoes!

during the summer my mom went crazy planting tomatoes. There were so many tomatoes that I didn't know what to do with them. I finally just cut all the ripe ones, did a photo shoot and brought them the next day to work and gave them away.

The tomatoes were so beautiful and full of color that I had to take pictures. There were also some tomatoes that were not as fortunate and rotted and dried which gave an interesting color under sunlight.

aidan logan & bryce

I was looking through all my old photos trying to organize and rearrange all the photos I had and came across these two. I think for now these are my favorite photos. But I know that there will be more to come!
Aidan actually took my ice cream and wouldn't give it back to me.

Dog sitting

It's been an oh-so-fun week and there is one more to go. I am house sitting for a co-worker that has a townhouse in Little Tokyo that's close to all the great eateries and frozen yogurt joints :)

I've already been to Curry House, Ninjiya Market, the Ramen place under Orochan, Pinkberry and Yogurtland. Toki Doki is actually designing for Yogurtland right now. They have cute serving cups and spoons with the themes.

The dogs are absolutely adorable and fun. Tara is a little black chihuahua and Bondi looks like a white terrier. They love to run around and play fetch and be loved!

I have been working on a new nursery that I will be updating the blog with soon. It's a robot themed room for my nephew Logan. Hopefully I will be able to retake better photos of the old nurseries to post.

My Nurseries

I believe that all children deserve a space that stimulates their imagination and encourages development.

Studies show that a child’s brain develops a great deal in the first five years of their life and high-contrast colors inspire this development. What better way to promote this than with a bright, beautiful, custom-painted nursery? With more than seven years of experience in art and design, I work with clients to brainstorm and sketch designs to create a nursery that your child will love.

Working with non-toxic paints, I have painted nurseries with themes ranging from safaris to toy cars. I love seeing the joy on child's face when they first see the room. The sky is the limit when it comes to your child’s nursery and their growing imagination.
