Engagement photos

I have such talented and great friends. When Charles and I got engaged in September, my friend Chi offered to take our photos. Connie and Diana helped with my make-up and hair as well as choosing the right outfit for our themed shoot at Home Depot and another place that Chi had scouted.

When I found out that I would be getting a make up trial in June, I asked Lyndon for his services and we trekked our way over to the Claremont Wilderness trail and got some great shots.

I loved the outcome of both! It was so fun dragging out Charles to take some photos with me :)

life

There is something about that moon that always makes me to whip out my camera so that I can take a photo of it. I took this the day before a full moon before dusk. Simply beautiful.

On Wednesday morning, I had walked out the door ready to start my morning and found a trail of feathers along the walkway. It seems that something had de-feathered a pigeon as a late night snack. When I got home that day and was ready to clean the mess, I found a broken egg with a lifeless chick laying on the floor. A swarm of ants was ready to take away what was left, piece by piece. So unfortunate, yet this probably happens all the time.

June

June is always such a busy month for me. There are always too many birthdays, including my own, graduations and bbq's going on. Just a little less than 3 months until the wedding and there is still so much to do! Here are a couple of snapshots I got while wandering away from the craziness of life.

Passed by this little critter nibbling on a piece of apple while I was attending a graduation at Cal Poly.

My nephew picked up a snail and almost put it in his mouth, but I saved it and got some great close up shots before returning it back to the bushes.

I love it when dogs give me this look.

Perfect Chemistry Bridal Shower by Alders Photography

When I first got engaged, my co-worker introduced my to her friend Jenny who was a photographer. My fiance and I met her and we fell in love with her work and hired her for our wedding. Here's a bridal shower that Jenny put together and photographed (for my co-worker). It's a chemistry themed bridal shower. ADORABLE! I can't wait to have her photograph my wedding.
